Laundry Disaster

Journaling: We ended up having a small flood in our laundry room. The washer hose for some reason just leaked, and leaked, and leaked. It was a disaster! We realized that we were going to have a big mess to clean up. Luckily, we got insurance involved, and they sent in a clean up crew, with these huge fans to dry everything out. Unfortunately, the laundry room was right above the furnace room, so the furnace and hot water tank were also shot. But to our surprise, we qualified for replacements. And we decided that it would be the perfect time to add AC to our house, since they were already going to be doing work in that room. So in the end, everything was dried out, and we ended up with AC for the hot summer months, so not a bad end to the story.
