Thank you for the challenge The translation of my text: It was thanks to digital scrapbooking that I met Fran (Imagine) on social networks. At the time, in 2008, she created kits and elements that she generously offered. I contacted her and thanked her by sending her what I achieved thanks to her achievements. We got closer through messages, without ever meeting. One day, she introduced me to the ACO forum where I had the chance to enter and meet many talented scrapbookers. We spent many years doing exchanges and real meetings, but never with Fran. Yet something had settled between the two of us. Even now, we exchange Virtual cards for Happy New Year, May Day or others. which I keep preciously.
Thank you so much for this challenge, much appreciated. Here's my take, full credits in gallery. Nice weekend!
I decided to do a layout about billeting hockey players. They come into our home as strangers, but leave as family!
I wrote about a blogger/writer that I admire and share values with. I had fun creating this layout as if I was pinning things about her to a bulletin board. Thanks.
@ashleywb Ashley This was a harder challenge for me - not because of the journey but because of the connection to someone I don't know. Most of my connections with people are personal and forged over time. So I hope my connection is human enough, as explained through my journaling.
This one challenged me. I finally realized the story was one that started 15 years ago. I wrote about the connection I made with another first time mom online.
Journaling reads I don’t usually feel a strong connection with TV characters, even on shows that I watch year after year and love. I just haven’t been super attached to the fictional characters for the most part. Two characters though that I had a strong connection with on two of my favorite shows - Abby on NCIS & Penelope on Criminal minds. These characters just struck me right away. Both are women in science/tech fields - who are super smart, but also embrace their creative sides. They have flaws, aren’t perfect in either body or character but came across as genuine and real. From the caffeine addiction(hello Cow-pas!) made me smile as I usually was watching with a sonic drink in hand both cared deeply for their team & were involved but also value time alone and were spunky! They both inspired me to be like them when I eventually grow up.
