WOW-finished. I think the hardest challenge of all! I hope this meets criteria. Did remind me of this weird event from years ago. It's sat in the folds of my brain for a LONG time))

I Have To Say That Upon Reading About This Challenge Initially...I Was A Bit Mortified!!!...I Understood The Concept Of The Notebook But I Was Puzzled about How To Proceed & What Kind Of Subject Matter To Go With...I Kind Of Knew It Would End Up being Something Personal & Perhaps A Bit Difficult To Talk About But Upon Reading Some Others Stories Here & Being Inspired By This I Opened Up My Mind,My Brain & My Heart To This Challenge...

*Just A Brief Comment On The Content:A Very Personal & Very Difficult Time In My Life That I Was Fortunate/Lucky Enough To Have Survived My Ordeal......The Journaling In The Layout Will Be Self-Explanatory About The What & How...There Is So Much More To The Story But I Stopped There...I Would Have Needed Two More Pages To Tell The Rest Of The Story...Let's Just Say One Layout/Page Is Good Enough For Now...

THIS was a challenge!! Really had a hard time figuring out what I wanted to write about but finally decided to write about my grandparents love story. 160 words. Thanks so much for the challenge. Sad the month is over!!

 

100 words on Word Counter:
The photo of you holding the kids in the bucket at the reunion made me laugh which is why I took the photo. That was the reunion where I took the family photos home so I could scan them into the computer for everyone to enjoy. It cracked me up when I was scanning to see one of the photos of Herb and me in a tub when we were little. Thought it was so funny seeing Herb holding Kylie and Connor in a bucket while I took a photo. Guess the saying what goes around comes around is true.

Winter is almost over. This week Zoe was feeling under the weather so she didn't go to school. We went grocery shopping this morning. On our return home, we went to see the big almond tree a few blocks away from home. Very few and very tiny blooms have started to appear. I remember other years when in late January all almond trees were in full bloom. This time of the year always reminds me of that pink almond tree outside my bedroom's window, in my childhood home. It's been 30 years since we moved out from that tiny little house. It wasn't even our first home as a family. But it was the first home I remember, and I was really happy there. I was so sad when I learnt that the new owners had demolished it in order to build an apartment complex. I felt a piece of me had died. I felt that no matter what I do, I can never ever go back home. 1/30/19

 

I extend the size of my pages a little so I could fit the words on without making them any smaller. I hope that was OK.

 

Wonderful challenge, Laura!! I printed my pages and glued them in to the TN that I'm using for memory pages this year

I think I'll print these out myself @IntenseMagic I almost think it would be easier to to it hybrid than totally digital! or maybe it was because it's almost my first day or two on PSE2019!
