JANUARY 29: Just the Highlights
Hey all! Can you believe we're just a few days from completing another amazing MOC!? I hope you've had as much fun as I have. I'm truly amazed by all your gorgeous layouts in the gallery.
Today we have a technique challenge with a bit of journaling. Sometimes you go back through your pages & just need a jolt to revive your memories. Maybe you want to help someone else get the gist of your page without going through all the journaling. Highlights are useful, they pull you in & help shape your story. That's what we're working on today! Your challenge is to create a page where you "highlight" or focus on just a few words within your journaling. Your page must have at least one photo, and you must write at least 150 words about that photo. You'll then highlight 5-10 words that sum up your journaling. Space them out. Your goal is to reach into your own journaling to grab the words that best describe what your journaling/page is about. You may emphasize the words however you'd like, but they must truly stand out. We're not just italicizing here. Try making them larger than the other words, or using a shape or element to frame those words. You can use word strips or word art. You can actually highlight them. How you do it is up to you, but you must make the focus words stand out. Try making them larger than the other words or using a shape or element to frame those words. The rest is up to you.
The rules for this challenge are:
@jesskab
@MiekSter
@Iowan
@AnneofAlamo
Please remember the general MOC guidelines:
Your page must be a new page in order to count for the Month of Challenges. Your page must be posted in three places:

Please remember the general MOC guidelines:
Your page must be a new page in order to count for the Month of Challenges. Your page must be posted in three places:
- Uploaded to the TLP Gallery (not an outside hosting site).
- Posted in your page thread you created in the MOC Layouts Folder. You should have one post per completed challenge page. If you complete all 31 challenges, your thread should contain 31 posts. Please do not comment in the participants’ page threads so we can keep them clean.
- Posted in this thread. People can comment here if they wish.
