"Way back in the mid to late 1990’s I started to collect Boyd’s Bears. I collected not only some of their Plush Bears, but resin Bear Statues and a few porcelain dolls. I have a few I bought from QVC as well. My collection has bears and dolls that have special meaning to me. This particular Porcelain Doll is very special to me. In September of 2000 this doll came out. Not only was the doll named CHRISTA, she was dressed for her first day of school and she was holding hands with her best friend Harvey. As soon as I saw this doll, i knew it was meant for me, and CJ bought it for me for my Birthday. My Birthday was always the first day of school, I wore a dress like this for my first day of school and one of my favorite movies was “Harvey” - a Jimmy Stewart movie about a “Pooka” (imaginary rabbit). I cannot believe it has been 20 years since CJ bought her for me. We display her on an end table in the more formal living room, where I have the rest of my collection. "
