HELLO, MOC Scrappers! Welcome to the ninth year of our Month of Challenges event! It's my favorite part of the year for scrapping! Similar to past years, our first challenge of the event is the Blind Scrap. Using only the instructions I give below, you will "blindly" scrap your page without the benefit of a sample page. Once MOC is over, I will then post my page, and we can see how everyone interpreted the instructions! It's a lot of fun for me to see how different everyone's pages turn out based on the same set of basic instructions! Since this is our 9th MOC, this blind scrap has a theme of "nine." So without further ado, your instructions:

    Your page must contain:
    • Only ONE photo
    • Journaling (as much or as little as you would like)
    • Only the following NINE products:
    1. Solid color background paper

At least one of each of the following:
    2. Patterned paper
    3. Frame (must be an element - a stroke around your photo does not count)
    4. Paint, gesso or coffee stain
    5. Flower
    6. Leaf or branch
    7. String, ribbon or bow
    8. Word art
    9. Tag

    Clarification on the product:
    1. You must have at least one each of the listed products. You can have more of each if you wish (for example, you can have 3 flowers), but you must have at least one of each
    2. You must have journaling that is separate from the word art listed above
    3. You cannot have any product that is not listed above, even if it is part of a different element. For example, you cannot have a button or a staple. If your flower has a button in the center of it, you cannot use it. If your tag includes a staple, you cannot use it. If your frame includes an element on it that is not listed, you cannot use it.
Edited to add my page, now that MOC is over!

In addition to the individual rules for this challenge, please follow our overall guidelines:
Your page must be a new page in order to count for the Month of Challenges. Your page must be posted in three places:
    1. Uploaded to the TLP Gallery (not an outside hosting site).
    2. Posted in your page thread you created in the MOC Layouts Folder. You should have one post per completed challenge page. If you complete all 31 challenges, your thread should contain 31 posts. Please do not comment in the participants’ page threads so we can keep them clean.
    3. Posted in this thread. People can comment here if they wish.
Your page must contain Lilypad product (pages with photos and font only do not count). If you use product from other stores, your pages must contain at least 75% current Lilypad product (currently for sale in the store from either permanent designers or guest designers).

Have fun with your blind scrap, and with our Month of Challenges!

Holding this post for answers to questions and clarification of the guidelines!

Q: Is a solid background paper that has visible paint strokes on it ok? for instance, one of Rachel's solids. It's all just one color, but it does have visible paint strokes in that color.
A: Yes, this is fine, as long as its clear it's a solid paper

Q: May I add a date to my tag? Also, my solid paper is tinted with slightly darker splotches but reads solid...is that okay?
    A: Both are fine!

Q: Does the journaling have to be in one solid block? Does a date need to be part of that block or can it be in separate location?
A: Journaling can be in one block or on separate parts of the page

Leaves or branches are a tricky one for me as I don’t typically use them at all....will put my thinking cap on and see if inspiration strikes in the morning

Is there a specific gallery we need to post out layouts in?

No. A MOC 9 gallery will come, but it's perfectly fine to post in the regular gallery.

My frame is behind the photo. It is a seperate element included in the kit I used, no stroke on the photo.
    Credits are in the gallery.
