Does the journaling have to be in one solid block? Does a date need to be part of that block or can it be in separate location?

Leaves or branches are a tricky one for me as I don’t typically use them at all....will put my thinking cap on and see if inspiration strikes in the morning

you can put your leaves/branches underneath other elements or your photo or patterned papers so that they just peak out, or form the base of a little cluster, if having them too noticeable isn't your style.
