January 7th : The Bucket List

@docsheila1
Sheila, i am commenting in every page in the gallery individually,m but I HAVE to say something here.... or Sarita (my daughter) wont leave me alone until she sees me writing this LOL. I have a neurological problem that sometimes makes me read many times when there are long paragraphs, I have better days depending ion what medication I have taken, or I may not get the language , so my daughter helps me.... we found one page yesterday after many, that mentioned the parachute thing...,and she said , after she had said it in the very first day that she would expect the lists to start with these kind of thing, so she foes : " finally, someone who does write what I would expect people to write!!! " LOL (she is almost 23) she says kudos to you, and to follow your example because I keep telling her she wont get me to sky dive, parachute or bunjie jumping not even if I was promised enormous amounts of money !!! love the page, I need to catch up but just had to pass on the message!!!

Oh, so many ways to go with this! I have an old bucket list that I made right out of college that I've never scrapbooked, or a travel bucket list I'm working on, or a "get through the next week without kicking the bucket" list, or.... Fun challenge!

so glad you like it!!!!!!!!!

I guess that leads me to a question - can it be a shorter term bucket list, like some career goals before I retire? I'm kicking the bucket on my career in that case, but not my life.

OK, I re-read the instructions and it looks like #1 is clear on the lifetime bucket list, as opposed to another finite period of time. I think I'll play it safe, lol.

As a matter of fact, you very well can do a shorter or more specific one....... some of the rules need to be kept because otherwise I would be in trouble trying to get through the many pages....but is what you have in heart!!!! lots of people have been making more precise ones, and as we said 5 items minimum (my list has maybe more than 100, but i scrapped only 7!) so feel free to make it specific or whatever you feel is the most enjoyable for you to scrap!!!!!!
I love your pages so I can't wait to see it!!!!! I haven't been around before December much (almost 4 months) so not sure if you have been, but it is great to see you scrapping MOC again!!!! @Aerobigirl I ll pm you in case you don't see this!

This was harder than I thought. Non photo pages always challenge me.

Monica, I did mention in the challenge description that you can use photos to highlight or make the page more to your liking as I know that many people like to use multi-photos even... I made two pages even, one wit a template from Fiddle Dee Dee Designs , I put cut of some pocket cards in place of the photos, but if you would like to use your page and put photos in your frames, you totally can!!!!!!!! @Monica Moriak

Oh dear . . . I think that I may have been too wordy . . . let me know!

LoRI!!!!!!!! how great to see you!!!!! (i ahve bveen missing for quiet a while so maybe you were around but I wasn't!!) anyway great to see you scrapping (you know I love you!!!) and I think you are fine, I can't read here , but will go have a look in your gallery and then pm you to let you know, but I think you maybe fine:) @pagefrocks

So ... I was tooling around in my files, trying to come up with something to do for this challenge. When I started thinking about using dolls I remembered that's what your challenge was last year. It seemed fitting to do it again, right?

Cue me spending all day working on a layout full of dolls - only to realize I was about to do the very same thing I did last year and tank the challenge by not following directions. The page I had 75% finished is essentially list-less. Oops.

(It is really cute, though, so I'll finish it up and post it in a different gallery.)

But I manage to pull this out of my pocket. It's not as cute, but it follows the rules :-D

LOL is great to see you back!!!! (I think I have already said this? I remember clearly that we ended up having chats on pms and it was great, your page was great!!) please, do tag me in a comment i your gallery when you do post it!!! I would love to see it!!!!!!!! @blueberries

Cynthia, you limited the amount of writing?! GASP! :giggle Thanks for the fun challenge, hun!

ahahahahahahahah Sara!!!!!!!! yes, well, I chose this challenge because I haven't been very well with my paragraph reading, I ll tell you later , but lets say I need Sarita's or my carer's help to read paragraphs that have more than 5 sentneces, I am still finisnhing the book that @Juliestcyr gave me when she came the FIRST time to London!!!!! I have it in the bathroom because is the only place where there is absolutely nothing to make my brain get out of the narrative, but even so, every time I get back to it, I need to read the last page or two again to be able to engage and understand... I still love pages with lots of journaling, is just for MOC it makes my life simple if there isn't much for me to have to stop... I ll catch up with you after I ot a bitr less to do, but you are always in our heart and prayers, my lovely!!!!!! @Tree City

I definitely hit a road block here....Must get my thinking cap on for this one.

Carinna, if you would like two minds working together, suggestions or any kind of help to get out of your road block, please do pm me and we get thinking together!!!!!!!!! love your pagezs and I am sure you will come up with something awesome!!! @cinna

So fun!!!!!!! Great idea! I call mine Life List btw because the word bucket to me focuses on what I want to do before I die, the word life - puts the focus on living. Just my spin :)

@KittyY great way of looking at it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, Cynthia, behold my boringness! This was hard for me, but it's the kind of page I'd never do on my own, so thank you! I actually considered making a pretend bucket list, but I was actually able to think of 5 true "aspirations."

I just found a type-o of course! But Feralist Papers sounds good too!
@Tiff
LOL NO boringness at all!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE the fact that you got ro scrap something you wouldn't without the challenge, and the page is great!!! I saw you posed as your favorite page so far in that thread and I am so so happy about it!!!!!! is great seeing your pages, i will go comment in everyone's gallery, I am just making sure I answered any questions first so I don't hold people up!!!!!!!

EVERYONE : I am amazed with the amount of talent, the gorgeous pages visually and the creativity, originality and items in your lists that either I already have them too, or you inspired me to add them!!!!!
I am commenting in each of your pages in the gallery, I am a but behind but now making sure there were no questions un- answered as I had a migraine all day and my daughter was working so couldn't really read much without help.... but I am catching up with you all now and mainly tomorrow morning (is 01:05 am of Wed here in London!!!)...thank YOU so so much for these AWESOME Pages!!!!!!!!

My sweet Cynthia, thank you so much for this fun challenge because this was completely out of my comfort zone. Who knew? LOL But secretly I love to scrap out of my comfort zone because I have to put more effort in the page. ;-)
Well, here is mine!

I had to update my bucket list for this challenge because the only one I had written down has changed a lot haha so this is my new and improved bucket list! I even added one thing from someone else's list (northern lights) because I really would love to see the northern lights in person! Thanks for the wonderful Cynthia. Wishing you well as always.

There is journaling (not applicable to this challenge though) on the post it notes on the left bottom and the text is in the description in the gallery

What a challenge! I know you said we could use pictures, but picture less layouts are THE hardest challenge for me. So I took a bit longer to do, but learned some fun stuff on the way (thanks to the Watch Cheryl Scrap Monday event) and to other tutorials. So here's my take on it all:
