In no particular order here is my bucket list (in the order they are in my layers panel)
Experience a "white christmas"
Travel on a round the world trip
Not need any more surgeries or long term medical procedures
win lotto and buy a house
have a girls weekend with my BFF
find love and have a "family"
fly business class once and spend one night in a 5 star hotel
Meet my online friends from TLP (isn't that the most important one!)
Go on a shopping spree and not have to buy plus size clothes
Hidden on the two post it notes are some further journaling which doesn't apply for this challenge but I'm happy to share it anyway
I know that about half of
these bucket list items aay not
be met but I’m ok with that.
Having a “family” is nearly
impossible because of PCOS
and the gastric bypass I had
done many years ago.
I also know the chances of
ever being fully done with
the corrective surgery that
has been planned for who
knows how long at this point.
Also the chances of ever not
being iron deficient is almost
nil so I will just have to
hope that my health will
improve to the best it can.
What a beautiful page! I really love the notebook look of it, and the tape, post its, and tag to make it look like a physical scrapbook or planner. Love it.
ohh Jennifer!!!!! first of all, it has been so long since I am active in the gallery, I need to put time aside to come catch up properly with your gallery, oy will probably happen after all MoC duties are finished ( that is not when it finishes for you, we have lots to do after) but it is such a delight to see this.... love (as always) the way you composed, one of my most favorite bases for a page is that format of the journal with the spiral binding, love how you gave it an artsy feel with the paints/brush work on top of the paper doll, the beautiful multi word title work...and, if course....the list.
We have a lot in common... some of it I already have achieved... I was told when I was a teenager not to bother trying to have a family, not to climb stairs and do PE in school... I have an almost 23 years old kid.... but even if it is for you a no no to have children you give birth to...... I have many friends who have adopted, one who had a lady carry the pregnancy (surrogate?)...there are many, many ways to have a family, so I wouldn't just tick it out... and even though we both know that some of our conditions/impairments may not change.....having a good, positive and hopeful look at life can make miracles happen..... I, for sure, will be cheering and praying for your wishes to become true....and that we are here to see the pages about all of it!!!!!
super huge huggzz and Thank you so much for playing with us!!!!
