Hello everyone ! It’s Guest Polly Gaelle here and today I’m here to share with you my process to create a card. In this new example, I have created a card to a friend to remind her (or him) to be kind with her(him)self.

So the first thing, I made is to choose the principal collection I will use. For this theme, the last Mixed Media Monthly Collection Know Your Worth and add-ons are perfect.

Then like the last time, I create a new folder and inside I will copy all the elements and papers that I really love and want to use in my project. Sometimes, I have lots of elements, sometimes only few. It depends the feeling I want to give on my card. This time, I wanted a background with lots of papers blended together that’s why I choose 5 papers.

After, I open my favorite program and put on the background all the papers. I duplicate, I blend the papers together and I stop when I have something I like.

Then I add the elements I’ve copied before. I organize them, the paint and splatters just above the papers and the elements that will have a shadow above all the rest.

To build my card after the background, I place the doll and the words strip, my message because it’s the think I want to focus. When it has a good place, I unhide the paint and elements and place them.

Now, everything has a good place, no need to add something else. I just need to find the addres of a friend to whom I will send this card.
