What Are The Signs And Symptoms Of Digital Addiction?
A symptom is something the patient senses and describes, while a sign is something other people,
such as our family may notice. For example, sleepiness may be a symptom while only seeing the back of mom’s head may be a sign to our families. Digital dependence can cause powerful cravings. The Digital Addict may think about walking away and turning off the computer, but finds it extremely difficult. away and turning off the computer, but finds it extremely difficult.
The Digital Addict may find themselves taking photos of strangers just to have a supply of scrapable photos. Just in case a new kit comes out that will be perfect for the photo.
Social and/or recreational sacrifices- every activity is a reason to take a photograph,
Maintaining a good supply-The Digital Addict will make sure they have a good supply of elements, kits and templates,
haunting the stores for early releases. Sacrifices may be made in the house budget to make
sure the have plenty of up to date designs.
Taking an initial large dose-This is especially true during iNSD. Finding large amounts of unzipped files on your hard drive
after huge sales.
Dropping Activities-Finding yourself surrounded by large piles of clean laundry or dishes piling in the sink.
Luckily, this addiction of ours does not need a cure, we are in recovery with each page we create.
Happy and free to make pages that capture memories of our friends and family, or to purge
emotions onto a canvas, this addiction called Digital Scrapbooking is a good thing and therapy
to our very hearts.
