Bits + Pieces | From Blog Hops to Doodle Drops

As we wrap up April, I wanted to take a moment to share a few updates and a little behind-the-scenes of what’s been happening around The Lily Pad.

We made a few minor updates to the forum this past month — mostly security-related and all happening quietly behind the scenes. Nothing you should notice on the surface, but important for keeping everything running smoothly and safely for our community.

We also just wrapped up our iNSD blog hop, and I hope you had a chance to hop along and enjoy everything that was put together. If you didn’t quite make it all the way through (or want to revisit your favorites), everything will be available this weekend as a full collaboration for $5. After that, it will move into the Lily Pad Vault.

iNSD festivities are getting ready to kick off in full, and it’s such a fun time to be here. Between the blog hop and Pick Your Prize, things are already underway — and there’s more to come. You’ll see special pricing throughout the weekend, making it a great time to grab items from your wishlist or stock up on a few favorites.

There will be plenty of games, lots of opportunities to jump in and play along, and chances to win some fun prizes. We’d love to see you in the forum, in the chats, and right in the middle of all the festivities.

On a more personal note, we did try to rescue a dog a few weeks ago, and it just wasn’t the right fit for our home. Not long after, we found Pluto — and he has officially joined the family.

And let me tell you… the only thing more interesting than one Velcro dog is two. Apparently, I am no longer capable of walking from the couch to the kitchen without a full escort team of doodles. And what’s one more trip hazard in the middle of the night? Because evidently, I’m Pluto’s person too — which means navigating an unexpected obstacle course if I need to get up in the middle of the night.

Yeah… this doodle life is hard.

All jokes aside, Pluto has adjusted really well, and we’re so happy to have him. We’re hoping to give him the kind of life he deserves, and he’s already settling in like he’s always been part of the pack.

As always, thank you for being here and being part of this community. I can’t wait to see you all this weekend.

x-Esther
