Hello everyone! It’s Polly Karen back again to give you a quick overview of all the new challenges for September. Each month we have 8 brand new challenges that are posted in the forum Challenge Pad on the 1st day of the month. (the BYOC Challenge is posted on the 1st Friday of the month.) You can use the challenges simply to inspire you to keep creating new layouts OR you can also earn yourself a fabulous coupon for your next shopping trip in the Lilypad Store. (2 challenges = 10%, 4 challenges = 20% and 6 challenges = 30%). Those who complete at least 7 challenges will be entered in a drawing for a $50 gift certificate! Isn’t that an awesome prize?!?! You’ll get lots of great memories captured in your scrapbooks AND you could win a fat gift certificate prize!!! Pretty great, right?! So let’s take a look at this month’s new batch of challenges!
1. Scraplift Challenge – This month’s Scraplift Challenge is hosted by Jenn (jk703) and she chose the very talented Marijke’s Gallery to scraplift from in September. Simply go to Marijke’s Gallery and find one layout you love and then create your own scraplifted version. Jenn found a great layout and then scraplifted it:

2. Photography Challenge – Lori (lcpereyra) is hosting this month’s photography challenge and she would like you to focus on capturing images of something that you are loving right now and then create a layout with those photos. Lori’s is loving exploring nature and kayaking and here’s a fabulous layout to capture that:
3. Inspiration Challenge – This month’s Inspiration Challenge is hosted by Ashley (ashleywb). Ashley has recently been using the quarantine time to use up things already in her house and because of that she thought it would be fun to use only items from your current stash for this month’s Inspiration LO. Here’s a great page Ashley made from her stash:
4. Style Challenge – Polly Em (Justagirl) is hosting September’s Style Challenge and would like to challenge you to create a grungy layout with lots of clustered and layered elements, paint and texture. In addition, those clustered and layered bits should create a strip that move across the page. Check out this gorgeous example that Em created:
5. Random Challenge – This month’s Random Challenge is being hosted by Christa (cfile). Christa and another wonderful Polly Cynthia share September 5th as their birthday, so in honor of their birthday, she’d like you to create a layout that includes at least 5 photos. Here’s a great multi-photo layout that Christa created:
6. Template Challenge – Jenn (jenn mccabe) is hosting the Template Challenge for September. The challenge is to use the free template supplied by Sabrina of Sabrina’s Creations and create a layout using it. Here’s a look at the free template followed by a sample that Jenn created:
7. Journaling Challenge – The Journaling Challenge for this month’s is being hosted by Heather (HeatherB). Heather is challenging you to capture a snapshot in time with some one word prompts. You can use any one word prompts you’d like but Heather added these suggestions: smelling, tasting, hearing, seeing, watching, reading, finishing, learning, anticipating, etc. Here’s also a great sample layout that Heather created for her challenge:
8. BYOC Challenge – Finally we have the BYOC Challenge. This challenge will be hosted and posted by Natasha (bcnatty) on Friday, September 4th when the BYOC Collection for September will be released in the store. The challenge will be to use 90% of the products on your page from this month’s BYOC collection and from at least 3 designers.
