It started out as a fun way to keep my family on Facebook up to date without worrying about us here in the wild west of America.
We are the land of social distancing on a normal day. This is our backyard, and the backyard of many here in my little town. If it isn’t, you are a few miles from it:
But still, family and friends in the metropolises around the world worry. This pandemic of the COVID-19 virus is affected life here, but not like in other places. I wanted to document it, but without fear. I have done week in the life, every day a page documenting everyday kind of moments, even to just hanging on the couch times. I did Day in the life, every hour, snapping photos and it was hilariously fun.
When school was cancelled here late on the 13th of March, it got real. so, as a joke I posted on Facebook:
Day ONE 3.14@12:03pm – Virus Pandemic 2020 – Boys cleaned rooms. Mom filled their MP3 players with old time radio and NCS release music. Boys then biked to library to get a load of books and such to have in case of self quarantine-or MOM sends them to their rooms for alone time.
Mom cleaned out fridge. Took stock of food situation.Organized freezers and fridge.
Found really cool lamp for sale. Pondering; is this the time to spend money on frivolous items?
Tony taking boys to fish. We will survive (this is done with a sense of humor and no fear or in any ways diminishing those really affected by this virus) hope you enjoy my diary throughout the pandemic of 2020.♥
I did a few more days, and then Just Jaimee came out with Real Life Holed Up Collection.
I knew I had to do a Virus Pandemic in the Life book! I went thru my Lynn Grieveson templates, and set to work! I started with front page for the book:
It was just to get the anxiety of the moment out of my insides. I smiled while creating and knew that this was the answer for me during this time. The life of the book began:
page 2:
Then taking the daily updates I had been posting began with the photos I put on facebook and screen shots:
Day 2:
Day 3-Things started to close down and stores emptying.

I keep posting on facebook! Friend me @Anne Pistilli if you want to follow along. I am scrapping them every few days, and hope it only last a few weeks. This will be one book.
Join in and document life even if it is in a diary. To explain this world wide pandemic would be hard without photos and journaling. Tell how it is affecting you versus other places. The fear and panic that took place and how we as humans came together to help and support each other.
