If MOC wasn’t enough… Here’s the new BYOC!

Polly Liana here to introduce you to the first BYOC of 2015! For those of you new to our community, BYOC stands for Build Your Own Collab. Have you ever fantasized about building a dream team collaboration between your favorite designers? Well at the Lilypad, we’ve give you that opportunity every month! Yes, on the first Friday of each month, the Lilypad releases our BYOC, which is a collection of products that are all designed around the same palette. That way, you can pick and choose whichever products suit your fancy and they will all coordinate beautifully. Genius, right?
Speaking of beauty, the palette this month is nothing short of amazing. It’s one of the most dramatic palettes we’ve ever had and a deviation from our usual wide arrays of colors. The main palette this month is built on monochrome tones which reflect a stark winter environment. But before you get all goth on us, in drops pops of bright yellow, turquoise, red and pink to lighten things up a bit. The combination is visually stunning. I’ve seen layouts in which a color photo pops out of a monochrome setting, whereas a black and white one settles right into the layout quite naturally. The designers have gone above and beyond with this palette and I’m delighted to share their products with you.
