It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas 
Ev’rywhere you go; 
Take a look in the five and ten glistening once again 
With candy canes and silver lanes aglow. 
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas 
Toys in ev’ry store 
But the prettiest sight to see is the holly that will be 
On your own front door. 

Ah, Christmas, is the best time of the year! Why save it until December!? Remember all those pictures you took LAST Christmas? The ones you so wanted to put in a Document Your December, or a December Daily?  I am not here to bring guilt, I am here to show you, YOU CAN get them done and get them done fast!!

Wait, that is a whole different movie! We are going for the yeah, I am finishing a book for my family about the wonderful December, and everything up to Christmas Day!   I am here, to encourage you to give you the oomph to finish a book THIS week! It is that easy!!

I did a 25 page Christmas book and uploaded to my favorite printing place Tuesday evening, and I am betting you can do the same thing.  How? I am so glad you asked?

First I got these marvelous Document Your Year template system from Lynn-Marie right here at the-Lily Pad:

 

Then I went through my December 2012 photos, and did a list of pages I wanted:

1. the beginning            

2. the hunt

3. the set up

4. the lights

5. the police? police? oh we live a wild and crazy life here in the great southwest frontier of New Mexico, USA!  

yada yada and then to 

20. the EVE

21. the wake up

22. the gifts (2 pages because we have a whole lot of kids)

23. the end (wrap up). This is a great way to get those pics you just couldn’t put a label on, but want them in your book anyways.

See nothing fancy, but oh what smiles will come when you receive this book in the mail.  They are fantastic ways to make your family more patient with the back of your head from scrapping so much! tee hee

These next ones, are more plain, and I think I am gonna do most of the book like this, with an occasional explosion of color from the other pages!
