Is it Fall yet?

Every year my husband and I have the same discussion….when is it ok for me to get all my fall décor out and go all Homegoods on this place? I’ll give you a clue who always wins the discussion – – ME! haha

I haven’t put any pumpkins out yet, but I did make these amazing cookies. They have a Fall feel – and like who will complain about cookies?! No one in my house I assure you!!

Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies
3 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 3/4 c brown sugar
1 cup unsalted butter softened
1/4 c white sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 c chocolate chips

18 unwrapped candies such as Werther’s, cut into pieces
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt together in a bowl. Beat brown sugar, butter, and white sugar together in a bowl using an electric mixer until creamy. Beat eggs, 1 at a time, into butter mixture until blended; beat in vanilla extract. Stir flour mixture into butter mixture until dough is just combined; fold in chocolate chips. Divide dough into thirty six 2 tablespoon-size balls; arrange on a baking sheet. Press 3 caramel pieces into each dough ball. Bake approx 15 min.

They ended up fantastic!! I did need to cook mine for about 20 min – but that will depend on your oven!

So happy *almost Fall 🙂
