Homemade Chocolate with Dried Fruit

Hi Pad Scrappers,
Polly Liana here with a quick and super easy recipe for a yummy cold summer treat. My kids and I often crave chocolate but I’m not a fan of all the added sugar, wax, etc. that is in most commercially-processed products. So I like to make my own, with some additions. Here’s how I do it:
Gather the following ingredients…

1/2 C Triple filtered coconut oil (it doesn’t have the coconut taste to it)
1/2 C cocoa powder
3 Tbsp honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Various dried fruits, cut into pieces
Place the small pieces of fruit into the bottoms of a silicone mold. Fill no more than halfway.

Melt the coconut oil just slightly in a pan (if it’s hot in your kitchen, you might not even need to use heat. Coconut oil heats easily.)
Add the cocoa powder, honey and vanilla and stir until well blended.

Pour the chocolate over the fruit and refrigerate for at least an hour until hard.

Pop them out and enjoy!
Have a great end to your week,
