Happy Friday, everyone! What do you have planned for this weekend?

Tonight, DH and I are taking our youngest shopping for new bedroom furniture. She's been redecorating her room and we've decided to transition her into more grown-up furniture. Tomorrow, I am going to finish decorating my house for Christmas because we're having some friends over for dinner before our annual arboretum walk. It's one of my favorite holiday traditions! On Sunday, I am traveling to visit my parents for a few days and see my grandma for her 86th birthday. Definitely a full weekend!

I hope yours is marvelous!

well, right now, I just finished posting all those pages I made and changed my mood from very low to something much much better.... so I'm going to get a couple of hours sleep as I didn't last night, then I am re assuming my duties at the GSo blog so I will be catching up with everyone in the gallery..... and tomorrow is our home decorating day!!!!! at least we knew last year this would happen (the shed is full to the ceiling) and put the tree and other stuff right at the door..... so photos coming soon!!!!!!!

I've picked the kids up from school and we went straight to an indoor playland. I'm letting them run around while I catch up here and probably also do some homework. Then I'll do more homework all weekend. While giving myself scrapping breaks so I don't fall apart! I have my semester project due soon and it's also DH's busy time of year so it's a bit stressed in our home but we'll make it.

Let's see...

My daughter has early release today at 11:45, so we're either going Christmas shopping or she's going to the movies with her friends. My husband gets home from Vancouver this afternoon. And the boy has to work after school.

Tomorrow, Alex has extra robotics practice for their competition next weekend. Clara has normal dance rehearsals. Tomorrow night, after watching MSU in the Big 10 Conference Championship game, Jeff and I are going to walk up to Schubas to see The Verve Pipe. The lead singer emailed Jeff to let him know that they won't go on until after the game since a lot of their fans are from Michigan and went to MSU.

Sunday, is church and that afternoon is Jeff and Clara's annual Daddy-Daughter Christmas shopping outing.

So, mostly normal stuff. Next weekend is the one that really gets crazy!

First order of business now that I've dropped the kids off at school is a nap! I woke up at 3:45 this morning and couldn't get back to sleep. :yawn Then DH has the afternoon off, so we are going to go do some shopping.

Other than that it's just chauffeuring DD home from the speech team practice tonight and then to her competition tomorrow. Maybe some more Christmas decorating, but currently our attic access is too blocked to get the big stuff down. It's all DH's stuff that's blocking it, and he's working tomorrow, so I'm not sure when we'll get to it.

Off to try to catch some of those elusive zzzz's! :)

Jay has weekend duty, so either the boy and I will be at home all weekend or we might get out and do a few things. We're both homebodies, so I imagine we will just be here ~ him building LEGOs and me scrapping and reading. I might cross stitch a little bit, too.

Tomorrow afternoon Alabama will face Florida in the SEC Championship Game, so I know we'll be in front of the TV for that. I'm just hoping Jay can get away to watch the game. It will depend on how many trucks have to be released to ship out. He is going to be one unhappy camper if he misses the game.

Sunday is church and in the afternoon, Daniel has a birthday party.

It is a rather quiet weekend, so I am secretly putting the trees up as soon as my girls leave (they are job hunting). Tonight is a family fun night (movie and snacks) at the school. Saturday, hang a few lights outside and the kids will put up their ornaments on tree, and hot cocoa and fun. Sunday all day for Jesus at church, and I'm blogging about my week (Sunday) and an easy peasy way to do DYD. woot!

My baby sister is coming up this afternoon and spending the night with us tonight and then tomorrow morning my brother and sister in law (plus a friend) are driving up and we're heading out as early as possibly to spend the day in St. Louis shopping. Then back to our house to meet my parents and niece for a stargazing party (we live in the middle of nowhere...the night sky is gorgeous here). Then I'll head back to Arkansans with my parents Saturday night to spend a week+ doing family things (and a bit of gaming). It's going to be hectic but I'm going to savor every minute of it!

We will be celebrating Sinterklaas with family tomorrow night. That's the happy bit of my weekend.
The rest will be working. I have a lot to prepare for my new classes on Thursday and I will be working at my other school the four other days so busy week ahead. Today I bought a orange/teal coloured binder and a pinapple shaped usb for the Thursday which makes me happy. But there is a lot to do before I can tackle those lessons! ugh

We are headed out shopping with friends for the Salvation Army Giving tree on Saturday, and then Sunday the tree will go up! Looking forward to a busy weekend!

Laura, holler if you need anything while you're at your parents!

Another busy, fun weekend.

1. DS #1: soccer tryouts today after school, Rock Climbing tonight, SAT in the morning and Escape Room tomorrow night.
2. DS #2: Lock-in tonight, Choir practice tomorrow, all-state football game tomorrow.
3. DD: Reindeer Run in the morning (1 mile run for kids downtown, followed by our local parade). Then shopping for shoes for The Nutcracker next weekend and helping mom decorate the Tree.
4. DS #3: Reindeer Run in the morning and tagging along.
5. DH: Teaching a Conference at church all weekend.
6. Me: Get my Christmas Spirit on... decorating that tree and playing taxi driver all weekend.

We will all take a break for the SEC Championship game Saturday even though I suspect Bama will embarrass by beloved, although somewhat pathetic, Gators.

Sunday will bring church, lunch with friends, then youth.

I'm sure I'm forgetting something :giggle

We are kind of in the middle.... Starts slow, and then finishes a bit busy.

Tonight scrap and relax, maybe catch a movie on demand with the boys.

Saturday we are going to get my son his birthday present - a phone! lol! He will be floored that I am agreeing to the phone, but with rules. :) Then we head to my Mom's to Play games - Ticket to Ride, CLR and maybe teach the boys Blackjack - eat dinner and have cake. Shayne will get to open his gift from my parents then.

Sunday is all of us going and taking Shayne out for his birthday. We are taking him and a few of his friends to a place called Yestercades - which is air hockey, pinballs, old-style arcade like PacMan/Donkey Kong, to current Playstation, Wii games and X box all in one location. We will get ice cream after, and then I will drop the kids off. I'm excited to play pinball! :P

Then Relax. My favorite.

Let's see..... scrap. And then some more scrapping... and oh yeah, more of that hobby they call "scrapping". :giggle

I took Friday's and Monday's off in December, because I had PTO I would lose if I didn't. So, this morning I started with a run (first in over a week because I wasn't feeling well). My coffee date was (hopefully) postponed, so I got to jump right in to scrapping. So far today, I'm on project/layout 5. Tonight, I have a "girl's night in" party. Tomorrow we have a kid's Christmas party. Rest of the weekend is family and scrap time! :)

:stash :woot :yippee

My daughter and I did a little bit of necessity shopping this morning before she left for work. It has been crazy around our house lately, and nothing is getting done because I'm at the rehab facility or other appointments, shuttling Kennedy back and forth or doing other errands for my grandma. Tim worked from home today, so that puts a serious cramp in my Friday routine. LOL. He's hogging all of the bandwidth AND I can't have my music blaring... sheesh. You'd think he has important things to do or something. :giggle

Tonight we're going to head up to Barnes & Noble to get a new Christmas book for Kennedy and one to send over to Conan. Tomorrow evening is the city's Santa Parade, so we'll probably go to that, and then on Sunday, we go to get our tree and get it all decorated. We usually have White Christmas on in the background, but it might compete with the Seahawks (depending on timing). Scattered in between all of those things are probably a million other errands and tasks that need to be done. I'm so ready for a break!!

Sounds like you are having a lovely weekend Laura! I wish everyone else a wonderful weekend too!

just last minute holiday shopping going on here and maybe some packing. We are trying to take it easy before we head off :)

I'm having lunch tomorrow with two of my fellow Central Florida digi-scrappers and then I hope to get the ornaments out and get some stuff on the tree. It's all lit but no ornaments just yet. I might try and get a little holiday shopping done on Sunday maybe.

Scrapping tonight. Scrapping tomorrow. Sunday begins a week of time off for dh - I hate use it or lose it PTO! So, Sunday we are visiting parents and his brother that's moving to Colorado to be a farmer. Yes, that kind of farmer ;) a mostly low key weekend.

The American Legion hosted a Christmas party for my school kids last night, so we did that and then stopped to pick up a couple of gifts. I'm almost finished shopping! I'm determined to have it done before break starts so I can relax and enjoy it! Today is catch up on house work and probably out to dinner and a trip to the grocery store. I hope to spend most of tomorrow scrapping and catching up on a few things!!

As I spent all but one day out this week and will probably be the same for a few weeks yet, my weekend is very low key - aqua zumba on sunday morning and hopefully having a bit of a stash sorting mission with my digi supplies-my laptop is almost a year old and my files look in as big a mess as they did then.
