Thanks! Yes, I am too! Waiting is a part of life; learned that in Central America where the pace and priorities are very different. Stewing doesn't help. After the initial shock of what we were potentially dealing with, we have decided to just continue with our new start as Empty Nesters!

I'm sorry you have to go through this. I hope things will turn out (somewhat) positive when you have to go back next week.
 
Oh my! How stressful! I'm so glad to hear that you have a good doctor who is doing all the right tests. I'm also glad to hear that you seems to be handling the stress well with a healthy attitude too. Saying prayers for good test results!
 
Amanda, I’m so sorry that both of you have to go through this. You both are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you receive the diagnosis you’re looking for. I know it’s not easy, but try to trust and be at peace. Sending you the biggest hug I can!! :grouphug @AJK
 
Sooooo, yesterday afternoon we sat down with the DR. and reviewed results of about 30 tests run.
Testicular abnormality was benign. Nothing in colon, nothing in any abdominal organs, nor heart, lungs, blood. YEA. :attentionNO cancer.:banana They are going to test his thyroid due to the loss of 36 lbs since Christmas ( that was our yellow light) and a few miniscule nodules on his thyroid. That alone can cause the weight loss. So,
I get to spend each day with him from a different perspective. That is a gift! But some things won't ever change between us, :assslap:heartslub!!:hehe LOL

Belated to this thread Amanda but so very happy that all the current test results are so good! :happyclapWe have given my daughter's bf one of the DNA testing kits so he has a chance of finding his birth parents and their medical history.

To continued good results for your dh!
