Sigh. When we located hubster's birth family 7 years ago, I was glad, and yet we also learned of how rampant cancer was in his family line. His father died of brain cancer. Now today we will learn if my dear hubster :heartslubof 37 years (age 56) has a form of cancer too.

Whew, Life is so very precious. I know we talk a lot about it- scrap it,
preserve memories. But it really is.

How scary. I'm sending positive thoughts your way that the diagnosis is not cancer. Hugs!

I'm sending hugs, prayers and all the positive energy I can to your hubs today.

prayers and good thoughts that all will be ok with your husband, Amanda. Positive thoughts for all of you.

I'll be thinking of you and sending positive thoughts, too. That is so scary....

oh my goodness, sending all my thoughts and positive energy your way. I really hope you and your hubby receive good news x

Thanks for the kind thoughts and words. :D We expected a sonogram today that would let us know which direction the doctor would be going. But, no. The V.A. had to schedule it, so the sonogram and CAT scan are on Tuesday. If the bloodwork comes back with a healthy white cell count then I think we can breathe a bit easier. :nod Either way we have a good doctor and he has ordered a thorough battery of tests and that gives me some peace.
You just don't realize how important people are to you until life gets sketchy. I thought I did, when my sister and brother in law were diagnosed within a month of each other. But this is so much closer to home and it really makes you take inventory, which is a good thing for one's soul.:angel
