So today we find out...

Amanda, so pleased to read of the results of all those tests. May they find and be able to treat what is causing his weight loss.

That alone can cause the weight loss. So,

Oh thank God! I'm so happy to read that it's not cancer! Phew!
 
Hubster just left to go have his ultrasound scan of thyroid. He has some "nodules" on it , and DR. says thyroid could cause loss of weight if it is overactive. Nodules could prove to require a biopsy and depending upon results, removal for it being cancer. I am hopeful it is just an upset of his endocrine system that can be medicated. We are supposed to get our house (FINALLY) this week so we'd love to get at that project without surgery, treatment, etc.

I am sooooooo thrilled for you that there is no cancer. Yes!!! Prayers answered! I’m still continuing to pray for you both, but this is wonderful news!! :circles:byay:clappy:cloud9:grouphug:heartlub

Amanda - My mom had nodules removed from her thyroid that were not cancerous. They started her on thyroid meds since it was not doing its job. About two years later she had the whole thing removed as more nodules had grown. Again they were not cancer. This last time, one nodule was the size of a grapefruit. So yeah, nodules don't mean cancer. Praying they are non-cancerous.

Hope you get your house very soon!!!
