2. What crust do you prefer? I like a keto or cauliflower crust these days. A nearby restaurant makes a keto crust that is good.
3. What sauce do you prefer? red sauce
4. What toppings do you prefer? always pepperoni and sausage but occasionally bacon and beef. Veggies are green peppers, olives and onions.
5. What brand do you prefer? Local restaurants that serve low carb pizza are Pizza Pizza and Red Swan but Pizza Pizza is the best.

I love the pluses you added to your 10! I’m glad you have a restaurant nearby with good keto crust; I can’t remember if I’ve ever tried one or not. Maybe from Pieology? I can’t remember.

My grandparents lived in Brooklyn and Long Island (Rockville Center) but my parents moved to Westchester County where I grew up. Tiny little town called Valhalla, next to White Plains. When I went to college, both of my parents (divorced by then) moved to other parts of the country. So, I rarely get back to NY although I visit my sister in NJ fairly frequently. She lives in Morris Plains -- which also has great pizza (and bagels!).

NY & NJ.. canno beat their bagels or diners either Oh and the diner coffee... yum. Sad but I do not see my self visiting anytime soon.. My BFF that lived there moved in 2021 to SC so I doubt it will be going back, unless I go in 2029 for my 50th HS reunion, but I doubt that. Anyway.. I usually have a list when I go back LOL... Diner is numero uno on the list.

My grandparents used to own a farm for a few years up in Newton, NJ that my Dad graduated HS from.. they only had the farm a few years and then moved back to Long Island. Also my Mom's sister and brother in law used to live in West Caldwell NJ so yup.. food in NY & NJ is prob the best!

I didn’t realize you went dairy free because of lactose intolerance. I would like to try the vegan kale pesto sauce as well as the Amy’s brand pizza. I’ll have to look for them locally.

Yes, and it made going vegan so much easier when I set out on that path a couple years ago. Cheese is hard to stop eating! I never loved meat though. Only eggs were hard for me to stop last year. And to be honest, I'm still not 100% there because of things like wanting to finish the jar of honey in my pantry that I bought last summer at the farmers market and not always reading ingredients labels carefully.

If you go to a pizza restaurant in Sweden, they often have about 100 different pizzas to pick from their menu. And beside that, you can always ask them to do anything you want. I usually order something like "No 69 minus the chicken plus mushroom" or something like that. LOL

I wish I could figure out how to make it at home! The pizza shop has moved 15 miles away from us. They used to be really close to us and had a take home kit (sauce, pizza dough and cheese) so you could cook at home and add your own toppings. That was so fun.
