Another week in the books! We've done shaker boxes, mosaics, clustering, and photo pages. Which is your favorite one that you've done? I haven't done them all, but I did enjoy this one talking about the library. I love libraries, and I usually get a library card first thing in every town I live!
I am usually a "kitchen sink" scrapper- the more the better- so the mixed media challenge was a real challenge- but of course that's my favorite layout this week!
I'm torn between Jan. 10-10 photos because I very rarely ever have more than 4 on my page and Jan. 12 Mixed media because it is a simple page and that makes me happy. Think I'm going with this one, Jan. 12-Mixed Media
I think I like all my pages from this second week of MOC but this one I really did have fun creating it.
I think it has to be this one. I like different ones for different reasons, but this one is colorful, fun, and guess what?! I only used ONE kit for this page, LOL!
I like all my layouts this week so it's tough to choose. I think I'm going to go with today's mosaic effect layout.
This one, hands down, is my favorite of this week, and all of MOC so far!! I have wanted to learn how to take building pictures and turn them into art!! Using filters and the watercolor filter - I finally did it!!!
I'm torn between two again.... Day 8 because its so unlike me and this really challenged me to use florals on my layout Day 9 mainly because even though I didn't do as much as I'd like to have during 2021 it was nice to see what had happened (good and bad) during my year
My favorite was the two pager I did for the related photos challenge, featuring my stunning model/daughter.
I was proud of my clustered flowers, something I never do. They look okay and I amused myself by decorating a snowy photo with flowers. I always like doing years in review. Mixed media is fun and my page is pretty. I'm happy with my shaker box and the topic of that page (the books I read in 2021) was something I'd been planning to scrap at some point during MOC, so I was glad to get that done (and get the screenshots from Goodreads off my desktop). My Where I Live page is pretty with dogwoods along one side and a great photo of my town, both blended in. The mosaic was interesting, but I don't love how it looks. I think the page I love the most forever is Day 10 - related photos. I made two, because I made my page for MOC in the morning, and then I attended the Slow Scrap and made it with the twist. Here's my MOC page. I have scrapped this way on my own many times, comparing things from various points in time. I love it.
I'm behind a few pages this week, but I loved the Shaker Box challenge (and a challenge it was) but I like the LO that came out of it:
well, I have a couple of pages this week that I like a lot, but this shaker box definitely is a winner! I always see real pages with it, and I was thrilled to create my own, even digitally!!
Well, if I have to chose just one, its the shaker box layout. But I must say, all of the challenges are FANTASTIC and I am very happy with the creativity they inspire. MOC - 10 has my creative juices flowing!
I'm much happier with my week 2 layouts! I liked the Where I Live and Mixed Media layouts a lot, but I love the colors of this one. And it's of my favorite subject--my daughter--going on her first formal business event.
