Hello!!! Hope you are well and excited to start the countdown having fun!
I personally love DYD as it is one month where I actually get to take more photos than usual, we spend it at home and is a very together time for us, but also love the chance that starting early gives me to scrap memories I have not yet done (or did but a new kit deserves the page better!!!) , so this is what the challenge here will be:

Make a page about a Memory of Christmas Past!
You can scrap a childhood special time, or even a heritage page of family members or anything of this wonderful time of the year that you would love to make a record of. You can scrap this challenge even if you don't keep a DYD per day, of course, and if you don't celebrate Christmas, maybe you can make a page about a past December Memory, we would love you to join us anyway! I personally take inspiration from all of you and love seeing your pages!!!!

Here is a page that (a very idol of mine!!!!) Carol @Iowan made for the challenge :

and here is a page from me :)

Also, as both Carol & I made quiet full on pages, I wanted to show you a much cleaner look, in case you are just starting, favor a more minimalist approach, feel free to make it in any style!!! There are tons of amazing inspirational templates in the store to help you out too!

Can't wait to see your pages, learn a bit more about your past Christmas!!!!!

This sounds so fun. I will have to dig out an 80's or a 70's photo and play later in the month!

Awesome ideas Cynthia! I really need to go back through some of my printed photos from before I went digital and scan them in to make some layouts.

I hope you don't mind me sharing this one I did for the November scraplift of Isa Marks' page. I hope to create another heritage Christmas page for the challenge.

This is DH, back in 1973, before we were married. What a guy! And yes, he is dangling an ornament from his mouth.

Last December the staff and volunteers at Moseley Old Hall shared with us memories of an English 17th Century Christmas. We got to experience the sights, smells, tastes and sounds.

Oh my gosh, we had one of those metal trees too (in the 70's)! I wish I had some pics of it. Thanks for the flashback!

That is so great, Marilyn! Really loving that pic. You're inspiring me to track down a catalog pic from that era and journal the story. At least your tree was tall and fluffy. Ours was about 4 feet and scrawny, with these straight "branches" stuck in a painted pole. So sad.

Here´s my page and it´s all about how we celebrated Christmas when I was a child. The photo isn't the best quality but it brings back so many memories. It´s me and my dad in the photo in the late 70ies or early 80ies. I showed my page to my husband and he insisting on that I should send it to my dad.
