January 5 - Multiple Photos

The perfect challenge for this set of snapshots. The life of a wild mushroom followed over about a week

 

Fun challenge. My journaling:

Ah, the annual Christmas card photo shoot. We hate it but for some reason we continue to put ourselves through it every year. The first step is staking out a decent location. We used to hunt for the perfect scene but since Danny was only home from USC for Thanksgiving, this year we borrowed the Nosan’s yard on Thanksgiving Day. Julie is usually my model for some test shots to get the location selected. Then, I get the boys into the shot, get my settings figured out and decide where I’m going to stand. We beg a bystander to take the shots. This year, it was Daniel’s roommate, Josh, and Debbie. Next, we desperately try to smile normally and try not to make weird faces (ahem, Gary who insists on talking through the whole process). We check the photos, make adjustments (see the dumpster behind us?) and try again. And again. And finally success (with a little help from Photoshop).

 

Journaling: After 26 years, Argentina won the Football (soccer) World Cup for the third time. Even in a country where football fuels passions that 5 million people took to the streets to celebrate forgetting differences and problems, it was a surprise. It was really a party, without police presence, or organization, almost without incident. Just joy.

I love multi photo pages... just don't seem to make them as often so this was fun.

 

Thanks for the challenge. It was just what I needed to get this page done for my hubby and son. They did a boys trip to the rose bowl to see their favorite college football team... even though Chase goes to BYU, he's a Utah football fan through and through.

 

Thanks for the fun challenge. I got some photos of a bee visiting our lemon tree before he flew away.

 

Definitely not a fan of multiple photo pages, but I tried...

 

Love multi-photo pages and this is one I've been wanting to do for awhile. Took me longer to find, select and organize the photos than to do the layout!

 

I started this when Covid shut down our lives. I decided to take a photo from the same spot on the first of every month for a year. I've been waiting to use them.
