Journaling:
Ah, the annual Christmas card photo shoot. We hate it but for some reason we continue to put ourselves through it every year. The first step is staking out a decent location. We used to hunt for the perfect scene but since Danny was only home from USC for Thanksgiving, this year we borrowed the Nosan’s yard on Thanksgiving Day. Julie is usually my model for some test shots to get the location selected. Then, I get the boys into the shot, get my settings figured out and decide where I’m going to stand. We beg a bystander to take the shots. This year, it was Daniel’s roommate, Josh, and Debbie. Next, we desperately try to smile normally and try not to make weird faces (ahem, Gary who insists on talking through the whole process). We check the photos, make adjustments (see the dumpster behind us?) and try again. And again. And finally success (with a little help from Photoshop).
That is quite the process! Good for you sticking to it every year. I love your photos and how they align with your journaling. I also love how you worded your title and made it its own pocket. Thanks for scrapping our MOC multiple photo challenge!
Fantastic storytelling. Love the series of photos showing the process. I had to laugh about Gary talking through the whole process! Love the pocket page design and the journal card with the title. Great page!
