January 5: Inspiration Board Challenge

This challenge really made me think like I've never thought before. Even though my layout is pretty simplistic, it is because I had to think purposefully about what to put on it.
My inspiration from the mood board:
1. Quote "Follow Your Purpose"
2. Photo treatment (top row, middle picture)
3. Color palette
4. Camera flair (artsy...)
5. White on black text

Here's mine ~ the things that inspired me for this LO were: brick wall, frame, graffiti paint, white on black words, butterflies, color palette and flowers...

@HeyJude or @mrs2a50 do each of the quotes count as separate items as part of the 5 or do the quotes whether you are inspired by 1 or more only count as one thing?

My goal is to be more courageous and try to speak my mind.

Inspired by the mood board:
1. Block design
2. Vertical lines (paint lines in umbrella block-->striped paper)
3. Black and white text blocks
4. Scattered elements (butterfly scatter-->sequin scatter)
5. Flowers

This is page 2 of a Project Life layout. My goal is on the typewriter card: to finally catch up on PL after years of being behind! (Note: My first version of this layout didn't have the goal typed out on the card. The revised version is showing correctly in the gallery, but on my computer the old one is showing here.)

  2. b&w image of person with umbrella
  3. "rain" of color
  4. butterfly flying off (I switched those for stars)

I put this request in the personal shopper thread but people might have ideas here too - anyone have any suggestions?

need some inspiration of kits to use preferably using the color scheme around helping people, following their purpose, discovering their goals and hopes etc (I know I’m never going to find any kits to do with disabilities so am going more broad)

The August 2018 MMM had personal growth, overcoming obstacles theme:

 
These always really stretch me for some reason. I enjoyed it!

My inspiration came from:
1. white backgrounds
2. face/portraits
3. double exposure photo
4. color palette
5. paint

This is something I never do, and it was so much fun!
I was inspired by:
1. image of a girl
2. words in the hair - I added the word “balance” in the girl’s head
3. motivational quote
4. repeated frames
5. flowers

 


Inspired by:
1. The photo of the girl holding the framed photos
2. The yellow and blue labels mimicked the umbrella shape
3. Black and White photo
4. Color Palette
5. Word Art "Sign"
 
This was hard!! =)


5 items of inspiration from Judie's mood board: 1. Paint drips on wall; 2. coral and deep magenta colors; 3. orange & black (sequins); 4. dots on the butterfly and for the color scheme (also sequins); 5. varying size of text in quote (for which I used stamps of different sizes). Plus of course the hope for the year.
