January 30 - Extreme Shadows-3D sculpture world/place

This is extreme and a real intriguing challenge! I played with it some in my software. It is a bit more complex because of the way it does shadows as compared the the PS products but it can be done.

My thought though is that this would be an awesome technique to use for a cover page. Will have to keep it in mind for future cover pages.
 
To anyone who is willing (I didn't see any restriction in the challenge that said I "have" to make the shape myself :), can you make me one cutout of my shape? :) I can take it from there. I've spent the last 3 hours trying to get this and it's just not working for me. I'm a My Memories user and this isn't possible in this program. I have PSE also, but that's where the 3 hours came in! I'll get you a GF for $5 if you're willing. :) Can someone help a sister out.
 

I think I have four layers? *L*.. and I have palm trees and flowers tucked in.. as well as a surf board.. and some other fun goodies!!!! I hope this is ok? I really wish I was here right now and not in the snowy mess that is Wisconsin
 
This is definitely not something I've done before or would have likely just tried on my own - but think it may be addicting! Definitely need more practice but I think I finally got something I was happy enough to share.

What about the shapes Liz made for the title in a shape challenge? I think those would work!

I never thought until seeing many of the pages that a cover would be perfect!
