I adjusted the leading line so the text would be right on the lines (there are lines there, they are just hard to see).

Both areas of text have edits although most obviously on the dole whip text. It's spaced out width and length.

I used the leading technique, although I couldn't get it exact... BUT, this technique has taught me something new and valuable! I didn't have a lined JC for this kit, but can't wait to try it on one!

Here's mine...I used both the leading and vertical scale to fit the words on the lines, I've used line spacing before, but never in combo with the other tools, makes those pre-lines elements a breeze! Thanks!!!

I loved this! I usually mess with the leading and occasionally the tracking, but never knew about messing with he width and height of your type. So I did that with both the Pride and Joy words, making them fatter, and I also decreased the tracking of the Pride word in order to make it not so spaced out. On the Second half I expanded and decreased the leading on the type to make it fit over the circle on the journal card!

Thanks for the great tut! Ive been dig for over a decade and never used those buttons lol

Here is mine for Day 3. I used both vertical spacing (leading) and the horizontal scale to space out the letters just a bit.

Well I think I broke a record... I scrapped 3 LO’s in day! Here is this one.
On the journaling I adjusted the leading, and both the vertical and horizontal scales.
On the Title I adjusted the vertical and horizontal scales.
On the photo I adjusted the leading, tracking, and vertical and horizontal scales.

I made the leading tighter so I could get more words in fewer lines.

Here's mine! I used leading to make my text lines closer together. It gives the journaling a more intimate feel. :)

I use leading, tracking, spacing, and kerning pretty much every day (for work and play), so I decided it was fair for me to use a little of it all! Used one font to create my title text box.

I increased both the leading and tracking to make my scratchy handwriting font a bit more readable.

I did Leading! I changed it even with in my text box because there were certain parts of the quote I used that I wanted to emphasize. [IMG]
