January 3: Mood Board Challenge (Inspiration)

there are lots of samples in this thread to give you the idea. it might help to start with a search for a colour scheme you like or 'feel' at the moment?
I just made a grid in photoshop for the one i've been working on (attached) and dumped images i liked into it and then resized them to fit the grid (like pocket scrapping or using a template). I started with the dreamcatcher wreath and built it from there (if you use pinterest, clicking one image to make it big will give you similar or recommended images further down the page and it helped me go from cacti to buttons and lakes with wordart etc)- my page isn't close to done yet but here's another example board i guess. My unfinished page has several buttons on it now and some wooden elements and a paper with the + design from one of those pots on the bottom left... Hope this helps (heading to bed now)

( this is to update with my actual layout - hope my mood board shows up in the quote)
the top left image and doodly fox inspired doodly elements like the leaves (that are actually feathers in Allison's Tweet element pack) & scribble;
wooden pailings behind cacti dram catchers inspired wooden elements (triangles and faux wood sign wordart);
bottom left image inspired paper choices,
had to include a bird too (cage pic on mood board),
page is about happiness and gardens(based on quote in bottom right image & overall)

(ok it didnt repost the mood board so here it is again)

This was fun! I have never made a mood board before and I really like how it turned out. I hoe teh page reflects what I was trying to get across on my MB :giggle

And here is my page ......

Loved looking through this thread - so many great mood boards and I loved seeing how everyone interpreted them. SO inspiring! Thanks for the great challenge. Here is my mood board:

And here is my layout that came from it. I doubt I would have included the pop of green or yellow without the mood board but it definitely helps lift the page.

Finally back, I wish I had been inspired to do something that didn't take as much time, but I'm loving this final creation. I might need to look into some sort of print for my kitchen.
