January 3: Mood Board Challenge (Inspiration)

So I was really intimidated by this challenge, I mean really! Like I thought about not even participating anymore when I read it. I have seen challenges like this and just click right on past! I'm not a fan of moodboard scrapping let alone making one! But can someone tell me where I can find a job that pays me to create mood boards?? I mean really! I just want to not even scrap from it but I just want to make more boards! Now I must stop and choose one to scrap from, but just let me say to all you Pollys out there if you need a mood board made you look me up!!! Here are my boards, now to do the hardest part and scrap from a mood board!! UGH!!!

This was a great challenge. The mood board itself scared me a little, so it was really helpful to see what some others have already done. Now I'm hoping I've figured out how to put the mood board itself in this post. Here we go.

This was awesome for me. I've never done a mood board before but it was exactly what I needed in my search for ideas for my son's next special birthday cake. I only bake twice a year, once each for a special themed birthday cake for each of my sons' birthdays. Doing the board for this led me to doing a page on his uniqueness and obsession with drumming.

I like the idea of mood boards, but I could spend a lot of time on those and not actually scrapbook. Need to find a good balance.

I know right ... I agree! I am inspired to scrap and create with so many of these gorgeous boards. I'm not sure what browser you use Carina - but if I hover over the mood boards I do indeed see the little Pin it button and can save them.

I also have the Pin it browser button installed for my browser. Whenever I'm at a site and I hover over something that does not seem to have a Pin it button - I click that installed button - and it displays all the images on the website page I am on. I can pick (and PIN!) whatever image appealed to me.

Are you able to hover over the mood boards and see a Pin it button?

Oh I can save them myself - just wondered if there was anyone that wanted to make a major board for it....

Ahh .. I see what you are saying. But wondering ...
is there a way to copy a board from someone else? We would still have to pin them to our own personal board though right? I know we can follow boards ... but I thought you still had to pin everything if you want it saved to your board?

Or you could just follow a board and then everything that gets added after that is automatically visible -kwim?
