January 10: Clean and Simple (Style Challenge)

Thanks for the challenge Jenn. It was so hard choosing just a few to put on the page. C&S scrappers are AMAZING!



background: solid paper
3-5 elements: snowflake, bow, word art, white solid paper (under wa) and pattern paper block

Jennifer, I'm going to say no, none of those would count as the 3-5 design elements, as long as they don't change the page away from a clean and simple style or alter the original guidelines. For example, regardless of the make-up of the template, you would still need to have only 3-5 elements (even if the template has more). If you use a style to turn a flat heart into an epoxy heart, for example, that's still a heart, one element. Make sense?

1 piece of PP ( newsprint)
3 elements used:
ric rac circle
word art

Yep, she may have said it more succinctly than I did, LOL. #lovetheunderline
 
Loved doing this - but I miss my paint splashes! :blush

I used 1 solid paper and 3 elements - frame, wordart stitch and heart cluster. The hearts were gathered like this in the kit so I hope it´s ok to count them as one added element!

Hi everyone, this is my take on this lovely challenge - a challenge indeed, as I would've loved to add photo corners as well (see attachment). Buuuut - here it is, with no more than 5 embellishments. ;-)
Helpful criticism is always welcome! Thanks!

The neutral white paper had the texture/gesso stuff already! ;)
