My 5 Additional items: (1) Frame (2) Pink painted polka dots under frame (3) Yellow Flower (4) Umbrella Paper (5) Word Art.

I love clean & simple...but sometimes they take me the longest! :)
Thanks for the challenge!

Sorry, guys... I've been deep in a flu-infested hole for 2 days. (not my family, just my patients). I'm catching up with comments on all of your lovely pages this weekend!

This was crazy hard! Thanks for making me really work at it. :-)

I love how half you said it was so hard... and half of you said it was so easy... isn't is awesome that we are all so different!

Loved this challenge, although I can't help but look at it and give pause to think: "this could use a teeny-tiny paint splatter in the corner." xD Thanks for the challenge

:giggle Resist the temptation... your page is perfect just the way it is!

Loved doing this, even if no paint was a true challenge!

HA... I figured you'd have a hard time since you are a master with paint! But it looks FAB!

jenevang would this paper be OK?

YES... that paper is perfect (sorry for the delay in my response)

Yup, I had a layout finished this morning and I read no paint--in to the trash that one went! I was dumbfounded! :D

LOL. #sorrynotsorry ... it's great as it is!

@jenevang If my paper isn't neutral enough, I'll switch it out. I just loved the green. OK, here is an alternate that is more neutral. Now I don't know which I like better.

Oh... I personally LOVE the brown one best. The texture on that page is yummy and I think it shows off your puppy and WA so much better! Go with that one. I love it.

Woah. I went so minimal, I scared myself...

LOL... don't be scared. It's gorgeous!

gahhh me too I desperately want to add paint hehe

Nope.Nope.Nope... you guys can do it :giggle

I feel like these are so difficult for me to find the perfect look. But when it finally clicks, I love it!

OH, it turned out beautiful! Nothing else needed.

I think that this challenge brings out the WIN formula... What’s Important Now.

It makes one really have intention in choosing which elements to use. I kept asking if it was the best element to choose to convey what I wanted.

I also think I have gotten a little formulaic in my scrapping, and sometimes I rely too much on paint splatters and scatters to bring visual interest. This made me think harder.

I love this comment #youwinthecommentaward #nopunintended #getit #youwin :giggle (I crack myself up). Seriously, though, I do love this perspective!

Definetely a challenge for me, because my style is more like "I put all the kit on my page and still want more".
My five elements are the bird, the balloons, the girl, the arrow, and the grass.
Question for @jenevang, because now that I look at it again, I have some second thoughts. The balloons and the strings were one .png element in the kit. Do I count it as one here too? :think

No, this is fine. As long as it is one .png, it will count as one element!

Yes! That would be a perfect neutral paper! :)

Thanks, @Karen ;)

This challenge was right up my alley!

I also put a white stroke around my photo to give it a border. If this is considered an element, please let me know and I will remove it.

TIA!

Nope, I think the stroke is fine and can be included as part of the photo.

@jenevang or @mrs2a50 - for this challenge are styles, fonts or templates going to count as one of the 3 to 5 other design elements?

Templates don't count. Styles and fonts don't count but they can't be extra. Like the journaling still needs to be 3 sentences or less... OR a title can count as journaling instead if you want. The font doesn't matter. As far as styles, as long as they are used on elements that are within your 3-5 range, you are good! Make senses?
