Jan 6: “This is My Song” Image Challenge (Inspiration)

So I thought about this one ALL day - and after a)not getting my son on time from school (he DIDN'T have running after school) and b) forgetting at least 3 times that it was Wednesday and not Tuesday (we had no school Monday), I just knew I had to throw in a bonus single in my layout. I hope this layout says it all without any journaling. LOL

January 6 | This is My Song challenge
I was inspired by the black and gray in the image.
song title: forward
band name: sweet tooth
I chose forward for my title because I'm going to keep moving forward to find myself. I chose sweet tooth for my band name because I have a BIG sweet tooth. LOL I didn't like this challenge at first because it's so out of my comfort zone, but when I found this photo that my dd took this summer while we were on a girl's only trip, it reminded me of my decision to move forward and do the things I wanted to do.

 
I love creating ATC's featuring song lyrics so that's what I did for this challenge. I took my inspiration from the circular shape of the record. These lyrics are from the mythical song "You Know You Do", written and recorded by "BTDT" (Been There Done That - a favorite phrase of mine) and featured on the album "Where Do We Go From Here?".

This one was a real challenge, but so fun! Over the last few years I've learned the true meaning of home and coming to terms with that has had a huge impact on my state of mind when we have to move so often.

Hi at the moment the thing most on my mind in the evening is to try and get MOC done ,and the thing that was the most distracting, to commeting in the galleries,and reading the forums were the Alerts, so her is my song

This challenge nearly stumped me. I finally thought of something that should work.

Song: Dreaming of a Magic Kingdom
Album: Twenty Sixteen

We've been trying to go to WDW for a while. We had a trip planned for this past December but for reasons that don't need exploring at this junction we had to postpone it. The song title talks of this dream I've had for several years. The album title is the year that I hope this dream will become a reality.
