2016 took us by surprise when Bryan got his notice at work.
He’s been the sole breadwinner in our family for the past
14 years.I became anxious about what my new role should
be.It became clear to me when I read MLK’s quote,
“Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see
the whole staircase.” My first step was to get my resume
up to date. I then immediately found out about a full time
sub position opening and I applied for it. I interviewed and
got the job. Taking that first terrifying step of getting
my resume together was the hardest, but because of my
faith everything seems to be falling in place.I know I need to
have faith that God will take care of us in our time of need.
I”m looking forward to making many more “first steps” this year.
 
My song is Light Speed Light and my band name is W.O.W. (Worn Out Woman) - She even has her own apparel line if you read the small print at the bottom of the page. ;)

 

journaling: Never Gonna Give Up Faith by: True Love Always Unites
When you are faced with a path in the road. Which path do you take? The one you are familiar with or the one that is unknown. What if you have chosen the wrong path? How do you get back on track? Regardless of the one that you take as long as you keep believing in Faith. It will find a way to correct your wrongs. But it only corrects the wrongs when you truly have not given up Faith. You can stop and wonder why but the answer is always in your Faith. We don’t have to understand why we took the path we did we just have to remember with Faith it will work; it will reconnect your paths.
We have watched our paths cross; go around each other and back to one another. Now the paths are parallel we are reminded that Faith with fix it to bring the paths back as one and keep them as one. We truly know that we can pass the test of time. How do we know because I love you and keep my Faith in You and Us.
 
Here's mine!

My song is "At the Sound of the Beep" from the album "Life with a Laser Cutter." I took inspiration from the image by using music/recording themed elements, but being a good child of the 80's, I felt the need to use a cassette tape instead of vinyl. :)
