Song name: Our Fantastic Chaotic Life
Band: the Zieseniss Family Singers - a bit of a take on The Sound of Music, which is Aby's favourite movie after Star Wars at the moment!
 
Okay, so I had to try not to hover by calling/texting constantly when I started letting my 12 yo stay home alone. So, my song for 2015 is "Curb the Urge," and the album title is "Reformed Helicopter Mom." :hummm

I am definitely musically challenged. This is not very imaginative, but it does describe me right now. I am very intent on getting semi-caught up with my photos. I will have a new grandson (so excited) probably before Valentines day! I just want to get these pictures recorded!!! (Pun intended!)

this was a tough one for me...thinking up a song and band and then how to scrap it ...but it finally came together.

This is my song. It's a feeling I've had for the past few months that's been growing. I feel like a butterfly or a bear coming out of hibernation. My kids are all in preschool, and it's amazing! I feel like I am a person again, not just a mother of infants. I thought I wasn't going to like this challenge, but it was so great for me to get these feelings I've been having out. Thanks!

I am always amazed at the creativity you two have. You hatched a plan a few weeks ago that you would put on a performance at our belated New Year’s party with Daddy’s old high school friends. Annie taught Thomas how to play a song on the recorder and Thomas had his first solo.

I would never have had the courage to perform like you two did. I played piano and had recitals, but I knew all the kids were in the same scared boat as me and most of the people I didn’t know anyway. But you guys just keep on surprising me with all that you are willing to do. I will always enjoy that!

The point being that I was too scared as a kid to perform in front of an audience like that and how much I enjoy their bravery. The first paragraph is about them and the second paragraph about me. =)

I found an image of a black worn out album cover and used it as a screen to make the album cover look worn out. This was a fun challenge!!
Band Name- The Beach Dreamers
Songs - I need a vacation and This heart was made to travel.
 
This was difficult for me; I have a hard time stepping out of my comfort zone. After thinking it about for quite a while, my blog title seemed like the perfect album title - Optimistically Pessimistic. The song title is Expect the Worst, Hope for the Best.
