Great challenge. I do love the look this technique gives I don't know why I don't use it more often.
Would like to clarify ... is it okay to use a template that already has the paintwork/mask in it and use that? If so there is actually a free template in the store that works well for this challenge.

that is what she did ... she clipped her photo to the watercolor paint. i would say this would be acceptable ... it is watercolor paint and it was used as photo mask. but i'll see if we can get clarification.I don't think that template works for the challenge unless you add your photo to the painted part. You have to use paint or something that isn't normally marketed as a mask as a mask. And then also put more paint on the page. So while that is an awesome painted template, in my opinion does not meet the requirements of the challenge.

I don't think that template works for the challenge unless you add your photo to the painted part. You have to use paint or something that isn't normally marketed as a mask as a mask. And then also put more paint on the page. So while that is an awesome painted template, in my opinion does not meet the requirements of the challenge.
