January 6 - Generation/Family Connection

LOVED this challenge! And it pushed me to finally get a layout done that I've been wanting to do for years (gotta love distractions and procrastination, lol). Thanks for another great challenge, @cfile

 

Had a heck of a time getting a background I was happy with...this is 2 pages blended words are in the gallery

Here's mine about my Gramma Peggy...

 

My dad and brother have the same name, they were named after my grandpa. When my brother was 13 their picture was taken. Last year we recreated it with my dad, brother and nephew who also has the same name (as a second name). Sadly my grandpa died in the 90s so he wasn't around for it, but this still was a very special moment

I had fun scrapping about how much two of my granddaughters love each other.

 

I wish I could have used a much older photo, but I am moving and they are all packed. So this is as far back as I can go and it is a fond memory.

 

Oh another challenge that I just loved! I have been meaning to scrap these photos together for ages I feel like and this was the perfect chance to get it done.
