Journaling:
My husband and I both have generations of twins in our family. There are twins on both my mother’s and father’s side of the family. After I found out I was pregnant, I found out there were twins on my mother-in-law’s side also. I had never met any of them yet and didn’t know any details about them. It wasn’t until after our twins were born that we found out that there are special connections between our two and another set of twins in the family. Pictured above, from left to right, are my mother-in-law’s aunt and uncle (Al & Alice) and our twins (Aubrey & Aaron). Al and Alice were my husband’s grandfather’s brother and sister. There was a family reunion that we took our new babies to and we found out that these four had some special connections. Aaron and Aubrey were born on the exact same day as Al and Alice but exactly 80-years apart. Not only are they both boy & girl twins who share the same birthday but they also all have names that start with an “A”.
Wow Megan! That is super fantastic and I am so glad you scrapped this! I read your journaling and it was so fascinating. Aaron and Aubrey will be so thrilled to see this when they get older and to hear they are in a special club in your family!! How cool for Al and Alice to know that they will be passing on the baton to 2 that share so much with them! I really adore how you scrapped this! Thank you for sharing and playing along with my MOC challenge!
