Self Imposed Scrapping Challenges!

Just finished the last challenge I was given so far!! :D Since she said 3-5 I went with 4 pages & used all the templates in 1 template pack for this!! :)

The only self-imposed challenges I've done have been in terms of number of pages done. What I've been most tempted to do is to go through my stash of 1000+ templates and use each and every one of them. (And if they were freebies and I don't really care for them, then declutter a bit.) Ditto with my kits - use them, and declutter freebies that I don't/won't use.

I think I may try some of these suggested challenges.

I do that decluttering about once a year. My template folder is always HUGE, so I click through EVERY template to determine if I still love the design. If so it stays, if not it goes. And at that same time I try to USE a bunch. My goal is to one day scrap each of them too & then stay on top of using the templates I download.

Be inspired in some way by these three layouts - must pick at least one inspiration from each layout.

I will be back after some sleep and once I’ve finished some essential work I need to do in the next 11 hours

I'll take this challenge! It might be tomorrow before I have more scrap time :D After work I'll be packing up more stuff from my parents' house to take to my house since I just got book shelves painted this weekend!
 
This is a BRILLIANT idea! Challenges help me knock out pages like nothing else!
You know what would be super cool? A list somewhere of ALL the TLP challenges (monthly and MOC) that have ever been! Then when you needed a jump start, you would have hundreds of "starters"!
 
WHEW, I am just out of breath reading what you all are doing!!! I just made a list of all the challenges. OK, so at least I have the list done!!! Isn't THAT an accomplishment??????? :eyeroll

I wouldn't even know where to start to get that compiled! lol! It sounds great though! Just a challenge resource PDF!

I've challenge myself like Anne in that I've used a themed kit for a non theme page. Just scrappin has been a challenge in itself this past month and a half with my sore wrists, arms and shoulders. I've taken some time off and I'm itching to get some scrappin done.

I'm going to challenge myself to get back to my son's mission scrapbook and scrap a double page layout for it! I really need to get on it. He comes home in July... YAY!

when you say sore wrists arms and shoulders, do you have carpal tunnel?
 
I haven't had much sleep, so all of the challenges my exhausted brain are coming up are things like:

Create a page where the focal photo is a close-up of either a human eyeball or a human elbow. Length of journaling is entirely up to you, but you must work the words "bucket" and "dandelion" in the journaling and you may not use the words "elbow" or "eye." You may not use the color green and your elements must include either a cat, a light switch, or a musical note.
