Oh my gosh, this was so much fun! The technique was easy, fun and quick, just the way I like it! Thank you for the fun challenge.
I did a few more steps on mine- added a sketch & then masked out the blur/mosaic on our faces. Hope that's okay! Thanks for the fun challenge Jenn! I attached the original below
MOC6: # 22: Geometrical Mosaics (Technique) Technique used: In Picasa, I added a soft focus to the whole photo. Then I imported the photo into Artisan 5. After that I added the mosaic filter to it. Then I increased the overall brightness of the photo. For Paint Shop Pro users ... once you find a photo you want to use, you can click EFFECTS - then scroll down to TEXTURE EFFECTS and and click TILES. You can then use the drop down box to pick the shape you want, hexagon, square or triangle. You can also play with the different settings there too ...
MOC6-1-22-GeometricMosaic Wow, this one was kind of intimidating to read through, as I'm still struggling with the Day 6 Dispersion photo, but when I got to playing with it, it came together on the first try! (Little things make me so happy!) Thank you for a great tutorial. Great use for some borderline sketchy photos! I REALLY needed this challenge!! I hope that is ok.
Note: I used the mosaic photo in her name, in the mask behind the photos, in the arrows, and on the side strip of paper.
@HavaDrPepper Maybe this will work for you, Rene?! Woot... fingers crossed! @JillW I'm so going to add this to Post #2! Thank you SOOOOO much!
