What are everyone's plans for ringing in the New Year?
We used to go to my aunt's and celebrate with a huge open house where we watched movies, played games, and finished with fireworks at midnight. Then, of course, the who can stay up the latest contest. This year, I think we are going to have a quiet at home night. DH has to work graves (7pm -7am) tonight, and the 1st. So, he has the 31st off, but coming off shift is hard. Especially to go back the next night!
We are having fondue, and some shrimp. And munchkin wants to make cookies, so we will do that. Maybe watch a movie, and play a game. I'm hoping that someone nearby does fireworks that we can see, because I think the Las Vegas Strip ones will be too far away!
What about you? Any traditions?

We have noise makers and poppers, and we'll have some snacks, then we'll probably watch some "top ____ of 2016 videos". So exciting
But that's how we like it! We have a small ball drop thing here in our town (they made a ball out of old CDs and they drop it from a the top of a ladder on a fire truck haha), but I don't like standing out in the cold in a crowd of people when I'd just much rather be with my family.
