I think I would've died. My DS, for as much as I love him, is lazy by default. I guess that also comes from being 17! He has Asperger's, so this is quite a feat for him. My job tonight is to carefully get him through the paperwork without seeming like I'm breathing down his neck, which is in fact what I'll be doing!Trips to Scandinavia and sons getting Eagle Scout awards...awesome things there. Eagle Scout takes a lot of work to get to. Our oldest son got his. Second son lacked writing up his report on his project. I really kick myself over letting him get away with that now.
Why do they wait until the last minute? My sister was an ASM with her son's troop, and she said it was the norm, not the exception. I think they do it to give their parents more grey hair...@QuiltyMom - Way to go!! I feel your stress and relief!! Got two Eagle Scouts and they both took it down to the line, turning in the paperwork on their 18th birthdays.
Glad to hear your foot is healing, especially since you will soon be putting it to use in a gorgeous country. We want pictures!!!
And I'll be sure to post photos of our trip. I'm so excited about it.

All kinds of celebrating going on today!
