MOC Month of Challenges prepping

This thread totally cracks me up... it reminds me Rocky training :giggle

Eye of the Tiger, baby!

So happy....the serial number for my copy of PSCS4 worked again so reinstalling as I type. Now all I need is the ISP to switch our plan from 80GB data limit to unlimited data and I'll be all set for MOC. I am actually even more excited now with all of the new designers too

Yeah for more internet!!! I'm super happy that your PSCS4 worked for you!

bhahahha..rubbing my fingers together whilst cackling wickedly.....
I am working on one of the days challenges, throwing in some twists and turns
eye of newt, a couple backflips and pure humor, with a small dash of torment to elicit groans from all
who participate.
so really just a normal day of scrap here
@AnneofAlamo lol. Go easy on us Anne.... Lol.

Getting excited but also a little apprehension since I am not a quick scrapper (darn paying job is interferring with my scrapping).

Same here - even on my days off, I'm not all that fast....and since this is my first year here for MOC, I'm not really sure what I should be doing to prepare that's any different from what I normally do. So, I'm about as ready as I get, and I'm just going to "wing it" and have fun - if I get all 31 days done, fantastic. If I don't, equally fantastic (or so I tell myself now.) :clap

For me last year I did a group of photos which had a color palette and theme. I think that's how I survived it. Sometimes it might be that you need something different, but it was also challenging to try to make a photo work for it. As far as push-ups Jen -- skipping those, but I might try Eye of the Tiger just to get one done every now and then.

I'm pretty sure I won't be able to do all challenges but I'd like to try a few that inspire me most. I'd love to get ready and organize by tagging my kits' previews with "TLP" but I don't know if anything by current resident designers is allowed or not. For example old freebies or retired kits, even if they never sold here @ TLP before (I'm CTing for Leah / Mommyish)? TIA for your replies, ladies!!

ETA: nevermind, I found the "countdown to MOC" thread where it says that only products currently sold in the shop count for the MOC, so I got my answer!

Polly, you have never finished one?!?!? You got to this year Girlie! You can do it!

Polly is a total slacker. It may be her lack of hands :giggle

Yep, but I'm sure there will be plenty in your stash... or it'll give you an excuse to shop :). Watch for BYOC. It's a huge weekend!

I've moved over my folders for the new designers from their old store folders to TLP folder.

I'm now making sure that the folders all have the proper image for the preview and renaming any byoc goodies so I can do a search to easily find matching items (I am wondering whether byoc should be kept in separate monthly byoc folders rather than within the designer folders?).

I've got no tagging system in place for either photos or kits so I'm hoping these two steps will help speed up my product choices which is usually one of the main time consuming parts for me.
