{I hope I picked the right forum!}

With less than a week to go, and Christmas done, my thoughts have turned to MOC!

My new pse14 is loaded into my computer, although I still need to add my actions and styles! My photos have been added and backed up. My in the store kit previews from current designers are in an easy viewing folder. I have extra batteries for my mouse.
I'm going shopping today to add to the fend for yourself dinner pile. (man and boy can not live on hotdogs alone!)

What are you doing to prep?

bhahahha..rubbing my fingers together whilst cackling wickedly.....
I am working on one of the days challenges, throwing in some twists and turns
eye of newt, a couple backflips and pure humor, with a small dash of torment to elicit groans from all
who participate.
so really just a normal day of scrap here

I'm on a Mac and I had copied the previews to all my kit folders on my EHD. Unfortunately, when I got my new computer set up, all the little previews are gone. Well, most are gone. Last night, I re-copied my ForeverJoy catalog. Next up, is going through the rest of my TLP kits and getting those re-previewed so I can actually find my stuff!!! It will be a good time to check to see what is still in the store and what's been retired.

My most important 2016 scrapping goal is to get more layouts done and ready to print. So as much as I want to finish MOC, the pursuit of completed pages for ME is going to be most important. We shall see how that all pans out!!!

I really must do a crockpot freezer meal grocery run! I may jot down some LO ideas like, these pics with this kit kinda notes, so I don't have to think too much about every single LO.

I'm new to TLP so I subscribed to all the designers' newsletters I could find and took advantage of any freebies they offer. I've also already received a couple of coupons in my first week here and have used them. And then I discovered at least one of the new designers moving in next month is one I've been collecting stuff from for a long time. So in less than a week's time I've moved from, "Hm, MOC, that sounds interesting. Too bad I have almost nothing from TLP designers" to "Count me in!" :byay I have a TLP subfolder in my Digistash folder and there's quite a sufficient amount in there for participating in MOC now, I think.

I'm organizing my stash and considering buying PSE 12 while its on sale (I've only got PSE6 at the moment)

YAY! I think you are totally ready! Can't wait to watch you fill your gallery.

Great idea re: the crock pot meal run :giggle

Thinking crock pot meals sounds really good. I know the boy has basketball all January and I may have a job soon so I need to be prepared.

Hubby will be gone for most of January so I don't have to feed anybody except the fur critters and myself. I'm perfectly happy with chocolate peanut butter in a tortilla for all 3 meals (sort of kidding but not really), so I'm good to go. I am going to try to make a preview of kits folder - I think that is a great idea! Right now I'm trying to finish the last of this month's challenges and maybe do a few on the designer's blogs if I can. I am excited! I can't wait!

I'm envious Mary. Peanut butter and chocolate in a tortilla sounds like the kind of meal I'd like! Too bad the hubby probably won't approve.

I have an extensive catalog in Lightroom where each and every one of my scrapbook kit and pack are previewed and tagged. This has been very helpful during any scrapbooking event I participated in the past! I have to change the tags on some of the designers now obviously, but it's something I can do with a click. Can't wait for MOC4!!

I need to prepare?? :circlesisn't enough? :crazy3

Is is terrible that I'm sort of envious that you have so much time to yourself? I mean, I do love my family... :whistle

Oh... :goldstars for the organization!

I appreciate each and every minute of my alone time! I was a single parent and full time college student and worked 3 part-time jobs for many years, then I homeschooled my girls and had 13 years of 24/7 kids/pets/other. I only have about 6 or 7 months of time to myself left before we move again (hubby is army)~ hopefully back to where the grandbabies are ~ and then I'll be back in the middle of awesome craziness.

Let me know if you ever pass through Ft. Benning (is your DH infantry or armor?). That's where I am (well... I'm close). And yay for crazy grandbabies :)

I love this goal!! Scrapping for yourself is awesome!

Isn't it great?!? It's like a whole mini store opened up that compliments other kits from designers here!

I'm organizing my stash and considering buying PSE 12 while its on sale (I've only got PSE6 at the moment)

Don't do it!!!! Don't buy 12. There are a few kinks that will really throw you off your scrapping game. 11, or 13, or 14 I would say go for it and enjoy! But not 12.

I hope the job is a good thing! And that you get it!

Do you have your kits and photos in the same catalog? Or do you keep photos elsewhere? I need to sit down and work with Lightroom so it will work for me.
