January 9: Your 2021 Year-In-Review

Sounds like a fun challenge, although truly a challenge, lol
Question: is the use of a template allowed? (I re-read the rules and I don't think it's been mentioned, but I apologize if I missed it)
Yes, you can use a template.

I'm in the same boat. Pretty well all photos will have to be coerced out of DD's phones or taken from the internet.
Oh and its a year of lows. Really low lows :( Highlights are those months I got vaccinated, that's how bad of a year 2021 was for me!

Yep, I'm going to include at least one month where we got vaccinated. I don't want photos of birds or squirrels or deer every month. And in December, I may include photos of getting LeafGuard installed. Thankfully we no longer have to climb up ladders twice a year to clean out our gutters. It's been that kind of a year. Sigh...

@lcpereyra - could the description technically be one word - i.e. vaccine, birthday, beach, etc or does it have to be more descriptive than that? Thanks!

1-9-2021 Year In Review
1 photo per month/add the month
small description

Credits: A. Pennington - Dear'21

JANUARY - We had a drive by outside in the freezing cold baby shower for Shelby. It was a lot of fun complete with a fire pit and s'mores. Shelby receive lots of gifts and goodies for Baby Koda.

FEBRUARY - This month was full of surprises! Baby Koda arrived on 2/5/21. I got a call from my son in Chicago that the birth mom was going into labor (9 weeks early) . Baby Liam was born on 2/8/21. Two new grand babies 3 days apart.

MARCH - Got to hang out with the twins! Love all my grandbabies so much! They are growing up so fast.

APRIL - Baby Liam got to go home on his due date!

MAY - The Chicago crew came to KC and it was the first time all 4 cousins (my grand babies) were together and the first time a lot of the family to to meet Baby Liam since had been in the NICU for 9 weeks in Chicago.

JUNE - The best news ever. The Chicago crew (my son, son in law and Baby Liam ) are moving back to KC! This the starting of the packing.

JULY - For my birthday Shelby surprised me with a professional photo shoot and this time she wasn't behind the camera. We did mother/daughter pics, and pics with Baby Koda.

AUGUST - Cuddle time with Baby Liam is one of my favorite activities. They only live 8 minutes from me so I get a lot of cuddle time.

SEPTEMBER - The twins turned 1! They were born 6 weeks early in Sept. 2020bu they have thrived and are growing up so fast.

OCTOBER - When my son and son in law went to NYC for 3 days, Shelby and Baby Koda came to hang with me and Baby Liam. It was like a 3 day slumber party with 2 babies and 3 dogs!

NOVEMBER - This may not be the best photo of me and all 4 babies but it was fun trying to corral them to take pictures. The boys had hosted Thanksgiving.

DECEMBER - For the first time in YEARS, everybody was in town for Christmas and we were able to get a BIG group photo. My momma would have been so happy that everyone was here and all the new babies.

UGH!...I Too Have Hardly Any Photos! Of 2021!...One Of My Worst Years Ever!...Bad Health Issues!...I Don't Have A Cell Phone!...No Quips From That...Can't Get My Head Wrapped Around This At All!...Need Time To Unthink For This!...:badputer...I Will Think On It...I Still Have Day #7 Filled Template To Do First! To Catch Up!...

It is fine as long as the one word describes what you are highlighting.
  • There is not a minimum word count for each label, but it should be enough to describe what the photo is highlighting.

I knew there would be a challenge with lots of photos so I just had to buy this template awhile back and here it is!

ETA: Helps if I can count....had two number 12's on there by mistake!

This scared me when I first saw it and thought it would take forever but once I got going it was easy and lots of fun.

I agree 100% with you on that.....thought it was going to take forever and it didn't really. Most time consuming for me was the lovely long list of credits I have thanks to mixing and matching
