Hi Everyone! DSD weekend is upon us... lots of scrapping, shopping and chatting! This weekend, I'm hosting the Technique Challenge.

Scrapping is a lot of fun, and many times I want to include something different on my page to change it up a little. Or, just something a little further from my style. A great resource here is the Learning Pad. Within the Learning Pad, we have had multiple posts called "Why It Works." These posts highlight a different technique, skill, tips and tricks, to get you t try something new on your pages.

This year's Technique DSD 2020 Challenge is to:

• Pick one of the "Why It Works" threads, found HERE.
• Create a new layout using the skill/technique/tip/trick highlighted in that post.
• Show me your layout and link up which "Why It Works" post you used in this thread.

I tried the warping shadows with my picture. I work in PSE and had to seperate my shadow myself since the program doesn't do it. I love the look of layouts with the shadows warped, but it is a pain having to do it the way you do in PSE, so I don't do it often. Here was my attemp at lifting the bottom right edge of my photo.

why have I never seen these Why it Works threads before? I used Shake it Like a Polaroid Picture AND Bold Paper Background and came up with this layout that took me no time at all (took me longer to find the technique to use) and I love how it looks!
