Saw a thread on facebook that someone posted asking others to post a random fact about themselves. I thought it might be fun to do that here. So I will go first. And this is kind of silly but I was in chorus in high school for three years but I never learned to read music. I know! Very bad! Sister Joyce would be so upset right now! Sorry Sister Joyce.

Feel free to post any random fact about yourself. It doesn't have to be strange. It can be silly. It can be boring. It can be anything at all! It just have to be random. :)

I've been keeping diaries/journals for a long time and still have all of them too. My first one was an ugly little green diary with a lock. The edges of the pages are orange! I have no recollection how I got it. It was 1989 and I was 8 years old. By middle school I started using spiral notebooks and after a while I numbered all of them. I filled 42 journals by early adulthood, when I stopped journaling so prolifically. Since then, I've written in a several different places, but I've never filled up another journal or spiral notebook. My last paper journal book I haven't written in for a few years and it spans several years and is only half filled. But I've written many many digital journal entries over the last two decades in text files, programs like Evernote, random pieces of paper, and, of course, scrapbook pages! I started using the Day One journaling app in 2015 and by mid-2018 I was writing in it daily and haven't missed a day since!

I like writing, I guess. :wub I don't know if this is random and sorry if I wrote too much! :lol

That’s great! The only time I kept a journal was when I went to England/Paris for a Shakespeare class. I didn’t think I would ever make it back to Europe so I kept a journal of my trip. I love that I kept one though. I really should do it for all our journeys. (I guess that’s another random fact about me. Lol)

And no you did not write too much!!!

I was in the chorus of a total of 4 amateur musicals and really am not a good singer and cannot read music. The musical I enjoyed the most was Carousel and it was special because as well as the singing and acting in the musical I helped with painting the backdrops. Maybe I need to scan those photos one day and create some digital pages !!!

I was in the choir for the whole of high school and not only can I not read music and may be tone deaf.
I seriously can't match a note that gets played on the piano, but I love to singalong.

For many years I kept a small notebook in my car and recorded the mileage and gallons every time I put gas in the car. These days it is an app on the smartphone that tracks the information. I've been doing it so long I don't remember when I even started but I do know it has been over 25 years.
