Random facts about who? You that's who! And well me too!

I was in the choir for the whole of high school and not only can I not read music and may be tone deaf.
I seriously can't match a note that gets played on the piano, but I love to singalong.

They seriosly must not have thought how to read music if none of us can do it.

I am a twin....I am older by 13 minutes and we are not identical. My little brothers are twins too.

I have very little/no sense of smell. We figured it out when I was 12 or 13 when everyone else was rolling up their windows when we passed by a dead skunk on the road. I didn't smell anything different. :) And because of that, I don't have a good sense of taste. I have to rely on REALLY good recipes!

Cheryl, that is hysterical! Speaking of sharpening things, I always hated sharpening my crayolas because they never had the same point they once had when you first got them. It was so disappointing to me.

I just watched an art video and she frequently sharpened her crayons (in addition to holding them a certain way) and then when she was coloring in, she would turn the crayon around and use the blunt end for big sections. Of course, she also scraped off all the wax after she was done, only leaving the color. First time I'd seen that - and thought that was cool!

This is fun! I always have a ton of butter too, lol

Pretty sure I've shared this before but not sure if it was here?

I have 6 children my largest baby was 12lb 4oz and yes he was born natural.

Two of my children share the same birthday, but born 7 years apart, they are my only two red heads have the same birthmark on their stomach, and have bent pinky fingers.

Random: love the smell of coffee and gasoline but don't drink either. ROFL

This is me too! I'm glad you don't drink gasoline, lol!

Random:
I was a left handed writer. In Pre-school, my teachers made me write with my right hand. Now, I am ambidextrous, but definitely far better with my right hand.

I can also write upside down, and in cursive with both hands. If you were facing me, you could read it correctly. It's not neat but it's legible.

Wooooweeee! I thought my 10lber was bad...holy smokes!

I think i've shared this before, but I was Joe (then Joseph) Jonas' Kindergarten teacher, and from 2006-2012 Jay Sekulow was our attorney. Who knew they would be such public figures? I'm fine with being "unknown", LOL :swingin
I was in chorus all through 7-12 grades. Loved:heartlub it and can read music, but can't play an instrument! Tried flute and piano but :no2.

Very cool random fact. And you are one of the first chorus/choir members here that can read music, lol!!! I can’t play an instrument either!

I can read music. I learned to play the piano when I was 10 and before I joined band. I was in band for 7 years. I was in choir in 7/8/9 grades and enjoyed it. I was not very good but I wasn't the worst one. I was also in choir my senior year just so I didn't have to sit in study hall.

Did you dance at AB?? I used to watch that show!
I don't recall if we actually danced -with each other? - but we did ogle the couple of boys we had long distance crushes on. I suspect there was a lot of teen ? preteen giggling.

I'm a lefty. I write with my left, eat with my left...but then use scissors and play sports with my right. lol

You asked for random... I have a twin sister (well sort of). Jenny was born on my birthday, just 8 years after I was born.

Here we are a couple of years ago with mom. I have 4 other siblings in addition to Jenny.View attachment 376427

And I can't hear tones at all...
That is really neat! Thanks for sharing and I love that photo.

On a train trip up from Washington DC to Philadelphia to be on American Bandstand, we girls all had to go to the bathroom at the same time (of course) so our chaperone told me and my bff to use the men's toilet. We did but the door got stuck, we were locked in and they had to get maintenance to get the door open. I figured we could crawl out the window if need be but my bff sobbed and sobbed.

I haven't thought of this for decades!

oh no! I take it you missed AB?

For many years I kept a small notebook in my car and recorded the mileage and gallons every time I put gas in the car. These days it is an app on the smartphone that tracks the information. I've been doing it so long I don't remember when I even started but I do know it has been over 25 years.

hubby would keep the receipts and put them in the center console and then calculate our miles per gallon.
